THE traffic lights were green to turn on to Tadcaster Road from St Helen’s Road, and two cars turned left towards York.
One young man on a bike heading towards town ignored the red light on Tadcaster Road and weaved between the two cars, then rode merrily on his way.
I know this happened, because I was a passenger in one of the cars. Reading Alexander Ogilvy’s letter of November 27 “Cyclists inept or mad”, I would like to add the word “stupid’’.
