York Hospital's multi storey car park
A TEENAGE woman was talked down from the ledge of a car park roof by police.
Officers were called to York Hospital's multi storey car park, in Wigginton Road, at 7.55pm on Monday, when a woman was spotted on top of the roof in danger of falling.
Police believe the person, aged in her late teens, was already receiving treatment at a York hospital and they worked with health professionals for half an hour before she agreed to go with staff.
Officers remained at the scene until 9pm.
