A MOTORIST suffered a serious injury in a crash on a Selby road.
Emergency services were called to the collision between a silver Ford Mondeo and a white Kia Picanto in Selby Road, Camblesforth, near Pheasant Wood Farm, at about 9am on Saturday.
The driver of the Mondeo, a 70-year-old local man, suffered a broken sternum in the incident and was taken to York Hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.
The driver of the Kia, a 25-year-old man, was not injured.
