EAST Riding of Yorkshire Council has scooped two awards in the prestigious Association of Public Service Excellence (Apse) Network Performance Awards for 2014.
The authority’s East Riding Leisure Beverley has won the Best Performing Leisure Centre Award for the fourth time, and the council has won the award for Best Performer in Refuse Collection.
The council was successful in the national Chartered Institute of Waste Management awards, winning the Finning Health and Safety Best Practice Award.
