CARE home staff brought Christmas to its residents when Rudolph and his friends came to visit.
Pensioners at Mulberry Court Care Home, in Rawcliffe, have been enjoying festivities for weeks by visiting school plays, having shopping parties and being entertained by singers.
But the best activity was kept until last when Wigginton Farm Shop took their reindeer to the home.
Sarah Stelling, activities co-ordinator, said: "They were here for a few hours as part of our festive treat for residents and many of them had never seen one before, so we thought it would be a nice touch.
"They are all excited at this time of year and have been visited by their grandchildren and great-grandchildren, so it feels really festive.
"We did this about four years ago and thought we would do it again this year because it was so popular last time, and it proved to be just as good again."
