EMERGENCY services have been called to a two-vehicle crash close to a major York shopping centre.
The crash, which was initially reported to have involved four cars, happened at about 10.40am on the A1237 on the Monks Cross roundabout.
North Yorkshire Police said the incident only involved two cars, and nobody had been seriously injured.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area if possible, but the road has since fully reopened and traffic is clearing.
