A YOUNG woman was assaulted by two teenagers in Bridlington on Boxing Day.
Humberside Police said the 25-year-old woman was walking alone when she was approached by two men in Windsor Crescent at 6.30pm.
“One of the men asked if she had a cigarette they could have,” said a force spokesman.
“The woman refused and was then allegedly pushed to the ground causing her to bang her head on a wall.
“The men then went through her pockets and indecently touched her before running off after she started screaming. Nothing was stolen.”
He said the woman went to Bridlington Hospital for treatment to a minor head injury. The attackers were white, aged between 17 and 18, and spoke with West Yorkshire accents and were wearing dark track suits. One tracksuit had the word NIKE written on the left leg.
