A MOTORIST who was stopped for a faulty light was arrested after police found drugs in the car.
The 26-year-old man, from the Pickering area, was driving a Mazda on the A170 near Snainton, towards Scarborough, at about 3.30am on Monday when he was stopped by officers from North Yorkshire Police’s road policing group.
A spokesman said the man was arrested and issued with a drugs referral over the incident.
