AN ELDERLY man suffered minor injuries when fire broke out at a house in Front Street, Wold Newton, East Yorkshire.
A smoke detector was activated by the blaze, which happened in the living room of the detached bungalow early on Sunday.
Five people and a dog left the house before firefighters arrived.
