YORK Mind has received a £200 Christmas donation from city PR agency The Partners Group.

Holly Pollard, a fundraiser for the mental health charity, said Christmas could be a really stressful time for people experiencing mental health problems, and the donation would cover the cost of 40 counselling sessions to help such people on low incomes.

Partners director Monica Green said the donation was in line with the firm's tradition of supporting a charity instead of buying Christmas gifts for clients.
