Disqualified driver caught for third time in a month
POLICE have chased a 57-year-old man down the street in York after he was apparently caught driving while disqualified for the third time this month.
The York man was driving a Toyota down Moor Lane in Woodthorpe at lunchtime today when officers spotted him.
He tried to flee the scene on foot but was arrested after a short chase.
The car was seized and he was arrested.
North Yorkshire Police tweeted alongside the picture of the car: "We've just stopped and arrested the driver for the 3rd time in a month for disqualified driving #WontLearn #Seized".
