LETTERS editor Julian Cole has done us all proud by keeping our letters page active in every sense.

For some time now, he has built up many letter writers who have become local celebrities and continue to supply comments, never mind how many letters they have had published.

Let us thank Julian for his continued care of this section of the paper, making it a feature our paper can be proud of.

To dedicated readers, the letters page, like the local radio, is a lifeline in the community. Let’s hope Julian continues to run this section of the paper in future.
