ELECTION candidates are going up against each other at a sustainable transport hustings due to be held on Thursday, April 30.
The event at the Winning Post pub in Bishopthorpe Road, York, will take place at 7pm, and will see Cllr David Levene, the current Labour City of York Council’s cabinet member for transport debate with York Green Leader Cllr Andy DAgorne, Conservative transport spokesperson Cllr Tony Richards, UKIP Parliamentary Prospective Candidate for York Central Ken Guest and a Liberal Democrat representative.
The event is free and will begin at 6pm before an update from the National 20’s Plenty campaign manager Anna Semlyen. at 6.30pm.
After the hustings there will be a sustainable transport open mic session.
