THE LGBT perspective on party politics will come under the spotlight next week at a special event at York St John University.
The University’s LGBT Staff Network is holding a public election debate, Queerstion Time, on Thursday, April 23 at 6.30pm.
It will be chaired by Dr Fiona Thompson, LGBT Staff Network chairwoman, and will be attended by election candidates from Ukip, the Lib Dems, Labour, the Conservatives, the Green Party, and the Trade Union and Socialist Coalition.
It takes place in Temple Hall on the Lord Mayor’s Walk campus. Tickets are free and can be booked via www.queerstiontimeyork.eventbrite.com or by phoning 01904 876767.
