A YORK microbrewery has produced three new ales for the Tour de Yorkshire weekend.
Little Brew, based at Clifton Moor, has created the Bishy Brews for the street party taking place in Bishopthorpe Road on Saturday, each inspired by Yorkshire ingredients.
There will be a honey and lavender beer, described as a light, refreshing blonde ale; Yorkshire Brew, an IPA brewed with Yorkshire tea; and Rhubarb Crumble, which is brewed with rhubarb and brown sugar.
Brewer Stu Small said: “Our county is rich with incredible ingredients and you don’t have to go far to find them.
“I wanted to celebrate all the amazing tastes that we sometimes take for granted in Yorkshire and turn them into great beer.”
The beers will be available from 11am to 4.30pm on Saturday in Bishopthorpe Road.
