IN response to the letter about Coun Keith Aspden's Germany Beck bus survey of local views in our area of Fulford against using our narrow roads as a bus access for the development (Go independent, The Press, March 31), it should be remembered that Persimmon added these changes to the plans at the last minute at the public inquiry.
I know that our local councillor has been working hard over a number of years to campaign with local residents, including attending the demonstration, the public inquiry and the Government Inspector's site visit along with myself, against the development in its current form.
I would hope that everyone, regardless of their political views, could work together to improve our communities.
As to the voting advice of the letter writer, Mr Warters, I will file it under "u" for unsolicited.
Judi E Legg, Heath Moor Drive, Fulford, York.
