An exhibition of children's art from around the world has come to York - and youngsters are being encouraged to go along and show off their creative talents.
The Same Difference display, made up of artwork from more than 600 young people from Yorkshire, Scotland, West Africa, South America, and the Middle East, will be in Coppergate until Wednesday.
The drop-in art workshops can be attended at any time between 10am and 5.30pm, and children can design their own personalised card about their lives, and their hopes for the future.
City of York MP Hugh Bayley was on hand to display his artistic talent by designing his own card.
The Same Difference exhibition aims to reveal that, despite their varied experiences, youngsters in all corners of the globe have the same hopes.
The project is being run by overseas development charity International Service.
Barry Perks, of International Service, said: "The vibrant artwork and revealing, often humorous, quotes from the children, offer the visitor to the exhibition the opportunity to see that, despite different circumstances, children across the world share the same aspirations."
