Police are appealing for witnesses after a boy was pushed off his bike and it was then stolen.
The 11-year-old was riding past the Washing Well Laundry, in Boroughbridge Road, York, at about 9pm on Sunday when he was knocked from his bike. The bicycle - a light blue barracuda child's cycle with a disc break on its front wheel and front suspension - was then stolen.
The offender is described as a white man who was about 5ft 10ins tall, of a thin build, with a dark hooded sweatshirt and tracksuit bottoms.
He then rode off along Boroughbridge Road towards the city centre.
Anyone with information about the offender or who witnessed the incident is asked to phone PC Hunter, of York Police, on 0845 6060247.
