THE Tax Payers Alliance has teamed up with Isitfair, the council tax reform group for a national protest.
We are asking you to send a copy of your council tax bill to the Government, this time to Gordon Brown, the perpetrator of the continual rises in council tax.
His tight hand on the purse strings has certainly pushed council tax up to new highs.
The Government will tell you that it is the fault of local government and the councils will tell you it is the fault of the Government.
We can assure you that the man who should take the blame is the man at the Treasury, Mr Gordon Brown.

The reason for sending it to this address is this. When we sent our bills to Mr Prescott, his department said only 5,000 letters were received.
According to our own sources that figure was many hundreds of thousands.
In this way we will be able to monitor the numbers before delivery to the chancellor at the beginning of May.
If you want a reply from someone at the Treasury, enclose a letter which asks a question.
If you do not ask a question you will not receive a reply. Now wouldn't you like a letter from Gordon?
