THIS season's City of York Hockey Club's awards evening was a huge success.
Winners were: Ladies Player of the Season - 1st XI Lucy Butcher, 2nd XI Jo Clayton, 3rd XI Ann Robinson, 4th XI Becky Copperthwaite, Ladies Young Player - Lucy Butcher, Josh Jessop Trophy (Clubmanship) - Lorraine Pearcy. Life Members' Trophy (Long Standing Service) - Paula Clough. Men's Player of the Season - 1st XI Chris Wilson, 2nd XI Matt Cattle, 3rd XI Peter Perryman, 4th XI Dave Rodgers, 5th XI Lloyd Devlin, 6th XI Sam Inns, 7th XI Nick Kay, 8th XI Michael Samson, 9th XI Aidan Richardson. Young Player - Stuart Burke. Young Clubman - Richard Cockram. Clubman of the Year - Brian Ignjatoric. Harry Kee Trophy (Outstanding Service) - Bev Smalley. Leading Scorer - Kyle Hogg.
The awards were presented by outgoing ladies chairman Paula Clough and club president Clive Marshall.
