TWELVE women will battle it out for the York Veterans' Ladies Squash Open Championship next week.
Top seed Suzi Booth will have home advantage as all games will be played at Dunnington and Grimston Sports and Leisure Centre.
The first round will get under way on Monday with the finals being held on Friday.
Booth and the other three seeds - Ruth Bielby (2, Malton I), Helen Phillips (3, Selby) and Fiona Howell (4, Stillington I) all have byes in the first round.
The order of play for the first round on Monday is: 6.40pm Linda Craggs v Wendy Shepherd, 6.40pm Louise Darby v Sylvia Moore, 7.10pm Val Eccles v Ann Matwijiszyn, 7.10pm Mickey Erridge v Sheila Clifford.
