WE were reminiscing recently about our childhood and I asked my mother if she could remember the man who used to come round on Saturday afternoons with a portable roundabout.
She had a vague recollection. I wondered if any other readers remember?
This was back in the 1950s and at the time we lived in Chaloners Road (Moor Lane end).
He used to set up his roundabout somewhere near the block of garages and the local children gathered round for rides.
