THROUGH your Letters Page, might I inquire what is happening to the city of York in its response to the funeral of one man?
No matter who he was or his perceived standing within his family, friends and associates, no sensible or responsible person can condone the inconveniences to local residents and businesses in terms of the closing of a car park (as reported in The Press) and the apparent requirement to close licensed premises.
