3 breweries do battle in York
BREWERIES from Malton, Barnsley and Liverpool are fighting it out in York this weekend, in a two-day beer festival.
The "battle of the breweries" takes place at The Slip Inn in Clementhorpe from 3pm on Friday and noon on Saturday.
Acorn Brewery from Barnsley, Brass Castle Brewery from Malton and Liverpool Organic Brewery will each have six beers on sale.

Drinkers are invited to try a sample of beers from each of the breweries, and vote for their favourites.
