WITH reference to the Press article "Block blot on the Cityscape" (April 17) I would like to thank the Castle Area Campaigners for letting us know who not to vote for on May 3 - that is, those who have constantly blocked the plans for an attractive retail development for Castlegate Riverside in York.
The revised plans for this site are needed and long overdue, and I believe that a large number of York residents are fed up with these pressure groups who oppose any new scheme for the city without any thought for the consequences of their actions.
