I FEEL very sorry for Paula Bedford being threatened with eviction by City of York Council (Noise row mum faces eviction, The Press, April 12).
It seems to me, as an outsider, that some people have nothing better to do than worry about a bit of door-slamming. Many a deaf person would love to hear it.
Instead of evicting the poor lass and her three kiddies, why doesn't the council try a more humane and civilised method to solve the problem, ie removing the interior doors from their hinges?
