A TRIO of students from York's Huntington secondary school have been awarded an art bursary.
The annual Alan Stuttle Art Bursary this year has been awarded to three talented sixth form art students, Kezia Hulse, Emma Barrett and Emma Wiseman. The bursary is in memory of Alan's daughter Caroline Stuttle who was murdered in Australia in April 2002. Caroline had studied art at Huntington School and Alan set up the bursary to support art students and give them opportunities to develop their work.
The school's art subject leader, Cassie Garbutt, said Kezia, Emma and Emma plan to undertake a range of activities, visiting Art Gallery's in Berlin, Germany and locally, also participating in life drawing lessons.
