A GOLDEN goal by Sam Hendry saw Fulford Under-7s triumph at a Leeds United Football Academy tournament.
Hendry blasted the ball home after the final against York Cubs had ended goal-less and gone into extra-time.
Earlier, Fulford had won two and drawn two matches to reach the final of a ten-team competition that was also contested by Heworth, Bridlington, Bishopthorpe, Poppleton, Scawthorpe Scorpions, Woodthorpe Wanderers, Rawcliffe and Tadcaster Albion.
The final saw plenty of end-to-end action with chance for both teams before Hendry settled matters.
