PAUL Cooper (Cygnet A') captured the York Phoenix League division one individual title with a dazzling display of darts.

Cooper defeated team-mate Dave Mason in the semi-final 2-0, while O'Hara put out Ebor's Mark Hartley with a 15-darter in the decider after Hartley opened with 18.

Cooper recorded a 3-0 victory against Mitre's Kev O'Hara with legs of 18 (180), 17 and a 67 finish for 15.

Crescent's Mark Chamberlain took the division two individual crown by defeating Mount's Adie Shaw 3-1, while the division three honours went to Britannia's Steve Burton (18) who beat Flag B's Liam Blowes.

Cooper also featured in the pairs final partnering Jack White in a 2-0 victory against Sun Inn's Tony Cooper and Kev Walton.

The triples final was contested by Ebor's Hartley, Tony Raymond and Paul Saville who recorded a 2-0 win against Cygnet A's Pete Leake, Dave Mason and Paul Cooper.

The PDL Team Knock-Out Trophy was won by Sun Inn who beat Marcia Grey 4-2. Chris Thompson shone with back-to-back 12-dart legs, including a 180 in both legs.

Other awards went to Paul Calpin with the season's highest check-out with 150, the season's three fastest finishes to Tony Cooper with 13, 14, 14, for 41, while Cooper added the fastest team game (29) with Thompson and Jon O'Mara. Hartley and Raymond also took the fastest pairs leg trophy with 19 darts.

Bertie Bingham (Slipper) took the division two three fastest finishes with 15, 17 and 18 for 50.

Thompson was named Player of the Night for his PDL Trophy heroics and colleague Cooper added the Player of the Season award to his collection.

The summer season starts on Monday.
