CYGNET C' started the new season of York John Smith's Ladies Darts where they left off last season - beating close division one rivals Cueball B' by the narrowest margin.
Sisters Michelle and Amanda Britton secured victory for Cygnet.
Sandra Bruce combined with Wendy Shortle to secure Ox a win against Slipper whose Elaine Metcalfe and Sue Tate had made the match all-square.
Toni Smallwood included 121, 100 for 24 for her new team, Burnholme, but rivals Slip B' put together a winning run in the middle order to win 6-3.
Slip A' player Claire Boyce 140, 121 and Helen Kitchen starred as they beat Flag 6-3.
In division two, Cygnet A' emulated their C' team by also winning by the slightest margin. Roz Kerr and Claire Grimley were final game winners for visitors Clifton B'.
Cygnet B' were also 5-4 victors as Cindy Benton and Caroline Rattray tied up victory at Tang Hall WMC.
Roxanne Judson starred for Beeswing who defeated Sun 6-3 and Blacksmiths came away from Severus with the same result.
Tiger cleaned up in the pairs to beat division three visitors Leeman B' 6-3. Volunteer A' also came on strong in the pairs to polish off Britannia whose landlady Chris Moore had levelled 3-3.
Lisa and Sam Barr were Tramways' match winners at Shepherd A' after colleagues Karen Alton-Tina Lane had levelled.
Acomb were prevented from a full house by Cueball A's final pairing of Linda Stubbs and Margaret Price.
Nelson were denied a clean sweep in the singles by Jubilee's Brenda Dawe. Shoulder were just nudged out by Leeman A's final combination ofMargaret Yeomans and captain Peggy Rose.
Gillygate put in a good all round team performance for a 6-3 victory at Tap and Volunteer B' made home advantage count as they beat Britannia B' by the same score.
