A FIVE-LEAF clover, thought to be incredibly rare, has been found in York.
The plant was found by Gemma Scorfield, 25, a barmaid from Haxby, when she was walking along Old Orchard.
The five-leaf clover is a mutation, like the four-leaf clover, that does appear occasionally. It is less common than the four-leaf.
According to the 'Clovers Online' website, a five-leaf clover means extra good luck and financial gain.
The chances of finding a five-leaf clover have been estimated at one in 20,000.
