POLICE say they are "amazed" there were no serious injuries in a crash between a van and a BMW car on a North Yorkshire road.
The accident closed the southbound A168 between the B1448 at Thorpefield and the A167 at Topcliffe, near Thirsk, on Saturday afternoon.
North Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Group tweeted pictures of the vehicles and said: "Amazingly no serious injuries. Heavy traffic in area."
