A MOTORIST was arrested on suspicion of drug driving after crashing a car into an outbuilding in Selby.
North Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Group tweeted that the man tested positive for cocaine and cannabis.
He was arrested after police officers on patrol spotted an unattended black Vauxhall Corsa in Flaxley Road at about 3am today, which had left the road and crashed into an outbuilding.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "A 19-year-old man was spoken to by officers a short distance away. He failed a roadside drugs test, and was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.
"He remains in custody at this time, as enquiries continue."
