Man was 'medically trapped' in car after crash
FIREFIGHTERS freed a male passenger who was trapped in a car after a crash in East Yorkshire.
Emergency services were called to the collision, involving a silver Volkswagen Polo, in Ellerton at about 10.30pm yesterday.
A spokesperson for Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said: “Adult male passenger medically trapped in car. Fire Service assisted paramedics in manipulating casualty free from car into ambulance.”
The passenger and driver were taken to York Hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
