THE circus which laid on a free show for York’s flood victims last year is returning to the city next month.
Hundreds of people who were flooded out of their homes when the River Ouse and Foss burst their banks in late 2015 enjoyed a morale-boosting complimentary trip to Paulos Circus last summer.
Now the circus is planning to return to the Roko Health Club site in Stirling Road, Clifton Moor, and also to Driffield, in May - ‘bigger and brighter than ever before,’ according to circus spokesman Kenny Darnell.
