DRINKERS in pubs owned by Tadcaster brewery Samuel Smith’s face being barred for swearing under a new zero tolerance policy, it has been claimed.
Pub managers have reportedly been told they are responsible for ensuring they are run in a ‘proper and orderly’ manner, including preventing the use of bad language.
Customers and staff alike must be asked to refrain from bad language and if they refuse, managers must refuse to serve them, it is reported.
A brewery spokesman was unavailable for comment on the reports.
