STARS of the future are to be given a shot at the big time when the next series of Britain’s Got Talent holds auditions in the city.
Producers from the hit ITV show will cast their eye on York’s performers at The Spread Eagle, in Walmgate, on Friday, September 29.
Producers are looking for a range of fresh talent for next year’s series, urging anyone with a skill they would like to share, no matter how big or small, or old or young, to come forward.
Previous winners have included dancers Diversity, Opera singer Paul Potts, dog act Ashleigh and Pudsey, and street dancer George Sampson.
The show’s winner gets the opportunity to perform in front of the Royal family at the Royal Variety Performance.
For the past five years the winner has also won a prize fund of £250,000.
To book an audition slot contact Casha on 01904 289390.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
