A CAR was destroyed by fire in North Yorkshire.
A fire crew was called to the A168 at Kirby Hill, near Boroughbridge, at 9am today to tackle the blaze.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire fire service said the BMW car was "totally destroyed."
The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault, the spokesman added.
Two hose reels, two breathing apparatus, and a thermal imaging camera were used to put out the flames.
