YORKSHIRE Care Equipment, a family-run company that covers the region is celebrating 45 years in business this month.

The company seeks to enhance its clients’ quality of life with cutting-edge mobility and care products.

Having originally opened a shop in Headingley, Leeds in 1972, it now operates from Harrogate.

The original owner sold the business to the Hulbert family in 1995, led by Duncan Hulbert and his two sons, Gordon and John, the company grew.

Now retired from the business, Duncan said: “I am happy to see the business being passed down the family to my grandsons. Their enthusiastic hard work and understanding of modern technology and methods has given the business fresh impetus.”
