A GP is urging more people in York to cycle to work and enjoy healthier lives in the process.
Dr Dan Cottingham, of Sherburn Practice, says undertaking regular cycling and other forms of cardiovascular exercise can help reduce the risk of heart disease.
Dr Cottingham has signed up for this year’s Ride to Work Week, which begins on Monday, and is encouraging other Vale of York residents to do the same to reap the health benefits of doing so.
