THE next headteacher at a York primary school already has the thumbs up from her future pupils.
Children at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs RC Primary School in Hamilton Drive, Holgate, took part in the process to choose the next leader of their school.
Adults had the final say.
The next headteacher, who will take up her post in September, will be Emma Barr.
The school was formed when Our Lady's School in Windsor Garth, Acomb, merged with English Martyrs School, Hamilton Drive.
