STEVE Steinman's Vampires Rock show will have a new special guest star for its visit to the Grand Opera House, York, on January 25 next year.
Bexley musical actress, pantomime star and 2013 winner of The X Factor Sam Bailey will be stepping into the shoes of Eighties' pop star and actress Toyah Willcox, who played the part of the Vampire Queen for two years, performing 200 shows.
Steinman promises "a tongue-in-cheek story, spellbinding cast, guitar gods and sexy vampettes to take you on a ride through some of the greatest Eighties classic rock anthems ever" by Queen, AC/DC, Meat Loaf, Journey, Guns N' Roses, Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Joan Jett and Alice Cooper.
Bailey, a former prison officer, made her York debut in March 2017, playing York Barbican on her Sing My Heart Out Tour. Tickets for her return in Vampires Rock are on sale from £29 on 0844 871 3024 or at atgtickets.com/york
