BECK Isle Museum in Pickering has a variety of activities on offer during the summer holidays.
With a changing theme each fortnight, from birds and beasts to fun at the fairground, visitors will be able to get creative using a range of materials.
On the traditional craft days, August 15 and 29, volunteers will demonstrate crafts such as spinning, quilting and weaving. It will also be a chance to find out more about the museum’s 19th century printing press and visit the chemist to find out more about the pills and medicines in the Victorian pharmacy.
There is also the opportunity to listen to a range of summer-themed stories at storytelling sessions for the under fives taking place on August 23 and September 20, from 10.30am to 11.30am.
