TWENTY FIVE members of the York Printmakers are exhibiting on Pyramid Gallery's first floor as part of director and curator Terry Brett's 25th anniversary year at the Stonegate art space in York.
Founded in 2015, this group of diverse artists with a shared passion for print use a variety of traditional printmaking techniques, such as lino and wood cuts, collagraphs, screen printing and etching. They produce original limited-edition prints, covering a wide range of subject matter, with styles varying from illustrative to abstract.
Taking part in this exhibition are Alex Fraser; Bridget Hunt; Carrie Lyall; Charlotte Willoughby-Paul; Chrissie Dell; Derek Gauld; Emily Harvey; Gill Douglas; Harriett Rymer; Jane Duke; Janice Simpson and Jonathan Moss.
They are joined by Judith Pollock; Lesley Shaw; Marc Godfrey-Murphy; Meredith Andrea; Michelle Hughes; Milena Dragic; Pamela Knight; Patricia Ruddle; Rachel Perry; Sally Clarke; Sandra Storey; Sarah Garforth and Shaun Wyatt.
