A SELBY pensioner, Keith Bradley, has just completed a 9,000-feet tandem parachute jump.
Keith travelled to Cape Town for the event, which was the first challenge on his bucket list, and raised £655 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
A great-grandfather, he had already completed a 3,000 foot abseil down Table Mountain.
Keith a 69-year-old power station worker did the abseil just for fun, when his friends suggested he raise sponsorship cash for some worthy causes.
Now, he is hoping to do a 1,600-foot bungee jump, and follow that up with a solo parachute jump.
"When I became a pensioner I became very adventurous, looking for some daunting challenges to raise cash for charity," said Keith, who is father of four children, ten grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
