'Lake Knavesmire,' pictured this morning
WELCOME to Lake Knavesmire.
The heavy rain brought by first Storm Ciara and then Storm Dennis has created a mini-lake on the green expanse.
The flood was so large last night that it covered Knavesmire Road, which had to be closed to traffic by City of York Council.
The road had reopened by this morning after the waters had receded overnight.
