ORDERS for puzzles have surged as adults and children spend more time at home during the coronavirus pandemic, according to manufacturers.
Firms are reporting sales increases of more than 150 per cent as people stay at home during the nationwide lockdown due to the virus.
With people restricted on when they can leave their homes, they have more time on their hands to do things like puzzles.
One of the firms that has seen a rise in orders is the Yorkshire Jigsaw Store, located in Easingwold, North Yorkshire.
A statement on the organisation’s website explains the increase in orders, saying: “We are experiencing a high level of orders at the moment. We’re doing our best to get all orders dispatched as soon as possible.
“Thank you for your patience and support.”
The firm offers a delivery service around the UK.
