A YORK junior football team decided to donate their Easter eggs to a hospice to keep spirits high during these difficult times.
Bishopthorpe White Rose Under Sevens players and coaches donated their Easter eggs to St Leonard’s Hospice, to “put a smile on their faces.”
The team realised that there are less fortunate people coping with such difficult times, and with the Hospice charity being so close to the hearts of so many they chose to donate to them.
The team is hoping to carry out future fundraisers to help St Leonard’s carry out their work around North Yorkshire.
