FIREFIGHTERS were called in by an ambulance crew to help them carry an injured cyclist from a wood to their ambulance.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said the male cyclist suffered a badly broken arm in the woods at Stutton, near Tadcaster, and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The incident happened at just after 5pm yesterday.
