FIVE more patients with coronavirus have died at hospitals run by York Hospital NHS Trust NHS Foundation Trust.
The deaths take the number of Covid-19-related fatalities at the hospitals, York and Scarborough, to 140.
The Press has asked the trust for a breakdown of the deaths between the two hospitals.
Nationwide, a further 204 people who tested positive for Covid-19 have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 21,384.
NHS England said the patients were aged between 26 and 101, and three of them, aged between 41 and 58, had no known underlying health condition.
